Default Replaced ecu and getting no acceleration

OK so I replaced my ecu today and had it programmed and tried to drive it home and it does not accelerate right at all. It will rev to about 3 1/2 grand and then it won't do anything else. If I shut it off and back on it will act fine but soon as I put it in gear and try to drive away it does the smae thing. Am I missing something I'm supposed to do after I programed the ecu?

Why did you replace the ECU ??? It sounds more like a DBW problem to me.

Hard to say what is happening with out more diagnostics performed. Might be time to seek a shop that specializes in diagnosing electrical issues and has advanced diagnostic tools available to them.

You might get lucky and find a Honda dealership that has a senior master tech but those are getting rare.

DBW is "Drive By Wire"... it is the electrical part of the throttle body.

K swap is fairly easy on this chassis thanks to the EP3.

No need for a standalone, Hondata and Ktuner work great.
