When driving at highway speeds with the HVAC recirculating button ON, There is an annoying whining/whistle like noise that you hear from the dash of the car. When you press the button and turn off air recirculating, the sound goes away. It is a terrible noise and almost unbearable driving at highway speeds because of this. Is this normal? Is there a fix? Went to the dealership and they were no help.

Honestly I unfortunately want to trade in this brand new car now because of this issue AND the terrible wind noise on the driver side window.

I just purchased a 21 Accord EX-L on October 14th. Took my first road trip on the 15th and started to notice the same whistling as you have described. Took it back to the dealer and they have been troubleshooting but not with much luck. They have replaced the "blower box" and have put in a request to remove my dash. It's a shame to by a brand new car and have issues already.

 

I have a 22 Hybrrid touring with the same noise. Noise goes away when in fresh air mode. Here is video of the noise:
