Hi all, new member but I've been lurking here on HondaTech for years. Figured it was finally time to post up. I've got a 93 hatch with a b20b and ls transmission that's been sitting for a few years now. It's only got 130k on the clock and I bought it with 101k about 6 years ago. It was bone stock with a blown motor when I picked it up and I did some cool stuff with it but I also did some dumb stuff.
As of a month ago I've started fixing it up with plans to bring it closer to a stock look. So far I've replaced all the moldings with new ones, and wrapped my side moldings with matte black vinyl wrap. I've got a set of oem mirrors on the way to replace the knock off spoon ones that I had.
Some of my goals for it are:
- Black interior swap (I have everything minus door cards, and rear interior)
- AC + power steering
- Power windows / mirrors / locks
- Stock rims such as ek4 sir rims, or gsr blades, or hx rims
- Spoon spoiler (super excited that they brought them back)
- Potentially a carbon hood painted to match since the current one is rusting
- Stock looking muffler thats a bit quieter
- Sound deadening on interior
The end goal is to just tone things down a bit and make it look oem+. I really just want a car that Honda enthusiasts will recognize as modded but looks stock. Plus I want it to be pleasant to drive. I plan on staying era correct. My dream is to have the interior 100% stock minus the front seats, and a paint matched engine bay that doesn't look like I did anything.
I'll probably start a build thread as I used to have one on another forum.
