My son is 15 and wants to get into some type of competition driving. We missed out on a cheap civic that needed a transmission, but a friend of ours gave us this 97 Accord 5 speed. Needs some work and we have a decent shop and I have some racing experience in Toyota's. Found an older forum post regarding racing these cars and learned quite a bit from reading it. We're going to rebuild the motor stock, add some suspension upgrades and start him out with NASA HPDE and we'll see from there.
