B Series Swap + Auto to Manual Conversion - engine mounts info
Gathering parts for my B series swap + auto to manual conversion of my 91 EF hatch. Can I use regular b series conversion mounts I.e) innovative/hasport? I’ve been told to find auto to manual mounts as the brackets are in a different location in automatics but can’t find anything specifically like that. Do they exist? If so does anyone have a part number or any available? Appreciate any input here. Tx.

yes you can use regular bseries swap mounts
the 88-91 civic/crx chassis is the same auto or manual so no need for any special mounts. just the factory components to do the auto to manual swap. pedal assembly, clutch cable, etc

i believe that the rear transmission mount on the manual bolts to the cross member in a different hole than where the automatic mount bolted
Just a note, the mounts you need depend on the transmission used. The easiest method is to use a B Series cable transmission. If you use a Hydro, you will need a different trans side mount, a hydro rear trans bracket and either convert to a hydro clutch or get a hydro to cable linkage kit.
Yes I’ll be using a b series cable transmission.
So in that case then does the rear transmission mount on the manual bolt to the cross member in a different hole than where the automatic mount bolted? Or is that not the case?
Appreciate this input.

Looking at the Honda parts catalog, there is no difference between the rear cross member except for an EF chassis with power steering. All appear to use the 50200-SH9-A00 part including the EF Civic DX Automatic (excluding power steering). The parts catalog only lists one cross member for the 90DX CRX which the chassis had both Auto and Manual options available.
I saw there is mentions in forums of different cross members for automatic cars but I can't find any primary source that shows that there was a difference.

Thanks for this. I’m seeing a set of three and a set of two in this pic. Is that what was meant or am i looking in the wrong place. ?
