"JDM motor" means next to nothing. What engine did you buy? What ECU are you using? Is there any CEL?

"Runs like crap". Elaborate. What is the car doing? Have you done any sort of testing like a compression test?

The JDM variants of motors typically have slightly higher compression, sometimes better bolt ons, etc.

It's subjective of course depending on what engine you're talking about, but that's the general theme with Honda engines.

Dang, this dude never came back. I have same issues. Here's my vid of idle.
I had a bank 1 o2 but swapped and cleared. Other than that I have no idea. Motor was a b20b(us version) new is b20z(jdm) can get more info off block. I think I have something plugged in incorrectly, only thing I can think of and would have went out if my way to screw up harness flow. Checked for vacuum leaks visibly and sprayed with carb cleaner at fittings.
has good compression have leaked down but did turn it over by hand..halp!? Tia

TPS and MAP swapping is a common issue since the plugs are the same and are not labeled.
