Brake light come in sometimes an goes off. Cruise control doesn't work now. Ice replaced the brake switch on the brake peddle. Is there some adjustment it still needs or do I have something else wrong? Checked fuses nothing. Cruise control light comes on for about 2 seconds an goes out.
2002 Honda Accord LX 2.3L

 

The brake and clutch pedals both have switches on them; both of these need to be depressed in order for the cruise control to work. Check both of those first before digging into depper stuff.
On my Accord the cruise control didn't work, so I looked at the switches and the little rubber tab was missing, so nothing was depressing the switch (basically as if I was always depressing the clutch pedal). I glued a round tab on there and that solved the problem.

 

I'd did order another tab. I had replaced it cople years ago. Will try that an go from there

Youtube says you have to put a quater coin between brake and sensor. Mine is same but I don't want to make any mod cause I dont think I need cruise control.

It says that brake worn out and not activate the cruise until you put a coin in between
