My AC fan has intermittent issues, though they are more often issues than not now. Sometimes, it is barely pushing any air, and sounds like something on its last leg, then all of a sudden it will kick in full blast out of nowhere. I replaced it about a year ago. I am surprised that a new one is already having issues. I do tend to have the fan running all the time while driving, but my driving has been very low this past year do to covid.

Any ideas of what might be causing these issues? is it just dying? Is there something else I should check?

It may be due to a faulty power transistor.
