1999 civic sound from transmission
Hello. I have a 1999 civic with a metallic rubbing sound that only appears following high rpm. I removed the starter, bump started the car and it still makes the sound. You can hear the sound in the video slightly. I have a spare transmission that I can install if need be. UPDATE. I have removed the transmission and compared it to my supposedly good transmission. Input shaft doesn't feel awful but the old transmission definitely makes slightly more noise when turning by hand. Should I replace the bearings in my old transmission, or should I use the new transmission
