Hey All,

Looking for a bolt on header that will clear the K24 added deck height on a 2005 RSX Type S... Can anyone confirm if the DC Race Header clears the front sway bar without modifications? Or any other header that doesn't use a rattle prone slip fit design? Thanks

 

I just did a K24A2 swap on a 2006 RSX-S and used a PLM K24 (V2) header with it... worked perfectly with the stock sway bar. My own RSX-S has a K24/20 mildly built engine and I am using a PLM K24 (V1) header which made contact with the OE sway bar on occasion during hard acceleration or hard braking... installed a 2006 Element front sway bar with aftermarket end links and everything is fine.

 

Ok good to know, I checked out website, it doesn't state version 1 or 2 but this one lists for \ RSX.
Did you have any annoying rattles or leaks with the slip fit design? Thank You

 

That's the one. No problems so far... I have had it for nearly four years and 35K miles so far.
