A/C leak
I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. I've replaced my entire A/C system in my 99 Honda Civic. All the components, lines, hoses, and O-rings. I have a leak somewhere. I've injected dye into my system and checked everything I replaced and don't see a drop of dye anywhere. Has anyone experienced this before. Before someone asks how do I know I have a leak, my system is empty of Freon in about a week and blowing warm air.
Did they actually replace the evaporator also? I think that’s the part behind the dashboard inside the car from the firewall. A lot of times AC people replace all of what’s under the hood but not the evaporator.
As for leaks, if it leaks all within one week, I’m surprised you can’t see moisture or Freon somewhere or smell it. Try to let your engine idle on a hot dry day with the AC off, then pop the hood and turn it on max AC and trace the AC lines with your hands to feel for moisture. It could be on the bottom of the hose that goes near the ground. I’ve had that happen from hitting something underneath.

I know, I have a UV flashlight and glasses that I used. I'm taking it to a professional. I absolutely give up. I have all brand new parts. Every single component, lines and o-rings is brand new Honda parts and I still have a leak. It makes no sense to me where this leak is coming from.
