hello all, im glad to say I recently came across a 2011 honda Cr-v that I will be swapping engines due to the previous owner bending some valves. I am currently looking for a longlbock and noticed the 2010-2011 motors seem to be much more scarce then 2007-2009 or 2012-2014s. Just curious wether the k24z7 block is a direct fit in for this model or if it had changes to sensors and or mounting positiongs.

 

Z7? No, that is the 9th gen Civic Si engine. It won't run correctly on the CR-V PCM.

The 06 and earlier was not a Z gen engine. Going to need to find a CR-V engine. Maybe an Accord engine of the Z gen but I kind of doubt it.
