Default Radiator fan position?

Hi so I have a 97 civic coupe I bought it a few months back and the radiator fan wasn't working so I wired it to a toggle switch. Wired straight to battery to a ground to switch. It turns on just fine but it's blowing away from the motor. The fan is on the motor side. Should I flip the whole thing around or do I need to rewire or switch wires around?

You have it wored backwards. 50/50 odds so don't feel too bad.

But really you should dig into why the fan is not working automatically. I would vote a bad relay.
