Default 98 CR-V timing belt tensioner -- the MAGIC move

There is a "magic move" for setting the tension on the timing belt tensioner on these engines (the 98 2.0 non-vtec) apparently. Anyone know what that "magic move" is? setting timing belt tension looks very straight forward but not wanting to dismiss something that might make the job easier and more successful... I am all ears for any gurus that know what I am talking about. Thanks.

Advance the crank three teeth of the timing belt pulley and then torque the tensioner bolt.
