Default 1993 hatch lsvtec

Hey guys new here but not new to Honda’s, I just purchased a 93 hatch with a lsvtec engine, things hammering and whoever built it cocked it all up I have 77lbs of oil pressure at line from oil filter plate to the head but at the other side by vtec pressure switch I got nada. It had a broken valve cap bolt the little 8mm guys at the end and was leaking profusely there so I replaced and tested with shop air and now seems to be getting to the vtec switch but still no vtec, the wiring is good, have power and ground to the switch no codes 16ohms on the solenoid for resistance. The engine does have top end noise like a lifter collapsed not sure if it would disrupt oil enough to not allow vtec but it’s my next step if anyone else has a better idea I would appreciate some advice. And yes I adjusted the valve lash. Cams are also pitted and I have a set coming. Doubt it would make the noise I’m hearing tho
