Squeaking clutch thrust bearing
Hi all, I have a Civic 6gen EJ9 1.4i (75 hp) hatchback. When the clutch pedal is lifted (untouched), in any gear, after a few seconds there is a squeaking noise from the engine. I have read on the internet that it is probably the thrust bearing or something like that.
The clutch itself was changed a few months ago, I dont know if the mechanic changed also this thrust bearing, is that usually done ?
How could I solve this once and for all, what part needs to be changed ?
Why does this happen, from old age, or something else ?
Thank you for any answers, and have a nice day
