CL euro-r swap all cylinder misfire
I have a 97 CL with a euro-r swap. It used to be in a 95 accord but the shell got junked, and we dropped the whole front subframe and put it in the CL. It runs well enough on the stock CL ecu but when I drive to get the monitors ready for NY inspection I'm getting 5 misfire codes ( cylinders 1-4 and random)
I think it has to do with fact there is no crank sensor on the oil pump since the euro r has all sensors in the distributor. I tried searching for a method to wire the crank sensor to no avail... Does anyone have an idea how to wire the distributor so it doesn't throw these codes? Swapping to the usdm oil pump would be my last option
I have a td61u that is wired to a MSD blaster.

The td61u distributor should have two wire connectors coming out of the body. a 2 wire connector and a 6 wire connector.
You need to wire up those 6 wires to the corresponding sensor wires in your engine harness, the 3 sensors are the CKP, TDC and CYP
Here is the wiring, even though it says F22B1 the wire descriptions/colours are the same for most early OBD1 distributors with the 3 internal sensors.

hey,
I double checked the wiring, and all wires are connected to their correct wires.
BTW, I have 2 connectors with 9 wires, 2 wire connector, then an 8pin with only 7 wires

If they are all wired to the appropriate ECU/Sensor wires, it could be a short in the wiring, an issue with the sensor or circuit on the ECU. Do you have the ability to see any stored ECU diagnostic codes? Jumper the data link and watch the CEL flash or do you have a tunable ECU that you can monitor the sensor outputs?
