Odd brake cylinder bleed issue
Procedure: Bleeding to flush old brake fluid. The RR wheel cylinder was used to flush the system, while replenishing the MC reservoir with a total of ~20 oz of fresh fluid.
Issue: Moving next to the LR cylinder, no fluid emerges from the bleed stem. While the stem is open, the pedal is quite firm, and engaging brakes fully clamps the LR drum from turning. This suggests the cylinder is getting pressurized fluid, and the piston is free.
Removing and inspecting the bleed stem reveals it is wide open, not clogged, in fact very clean.
This suggests there must be a clog inside the cylinder itself at the bleed orifice.
Question: Is my reasoning sound?
