No air conditioning—newbie trying to install
Hello there, I found a decent 1993 Del Sol si I ended up purchasing, but it has no air conditioning. In Arizona it’s utterly unbearable most of the year without ac, so I’m looking to install ac.
my question is, are there any differences between air conditioning assemblies between the Del sols? That is, could I get a full air conditioning assembly from the non-Si version and plug and play?
what are your guys’ recommendations for going about and installing air conditioning into my hell-pit Del sol (I guess it is of the sun, lol)
also, thank you for any advice, and sorry if this is an annoying question, I just joined

I think the only difference would be with the Del Sol VTEC models since they use the bigger compressor, otherwise the D-series trims should be the same.
You need the entire system. From the compressor to the cabin. You need the relays as well. You will need the climate control or at least the button.
Almost all of it is identical to a 92-95 Civic system that is much easier to source. Only thing del Sol specific you'd need is the A/C button on the climate control. Check my signature for various A/C links.
You’re going to laugh, but where how or where do I check your signature? Thank you so much!! That information already helps a whole lot
No sweat. If you're on mobile I don't think they show. Here's the relevant link in it: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...WFHs1rTBVZRaPw
