Feedback Request: Nippon aftermarket PR3 Pistons.
Just curious if any of you guys have used Nippon pr3 Pistons and how durable they are. I got a super deal on a set of skunk2 tuner 2 for this lsvtec. I bought supertech springs retainers and flat face valves to support the cam. Now I need to up compression a bit. I'm tuning on pump gas 93. Might these Pistons be a nice compliment to the setup? It's going to be a daily and hoping for 210
nothing? im hoping for over 200hp on a daily with these pistons what i have is...
b18a bottom
b16 head
supertech dual springs 85lb/ti retainers/ flat face valves
skunk2 tunerII cams and gears
skunk2 IM
stock pr4 rods shot peened
arp head/rod/main bolts
aem fuel rail/ blox 500cc injector
2.5 exhaust no cat w/ plm 4-1
moates demon2
and hopefully these pr3 pistons
are my goals unrealistic? 210-220 on 93 octane. this area of east tx doesnt offer e85. another thought was using anhydrous acetone to raise octane if 93 isnt enough to prevent knock

Based on the parts you have chosen, and depending on the brand of Dyno that you tune on, I see no reason why you cannot make somewhere between 190 and 215 wheel HP. In short, if you want to make a number, spend more time researching which Dynomometers read the highest and tune on that one.
