Hi, New to this group. 1983 Aero 80. It had sat for 10 yrs, new battery, cleaned out carb, tanks, new plug. It started right up, runs for 3 mins, stops, let sit for 20 mins, does the same. I thought the vacuum petcock was malfunctioning but gas will drain from the bowl, so it's getting gas that far.
I cleaned out the jets and again, it runs for 3 mins great then slowly dies. Should I be looking to bypass the auto choke system? Any links/guidance would be appreciated.. Also, when dead cold, it starts immediately.
