Braking Issue (I think)
BASICS: 2000 Honda Civic Ex, stock daily driver.
For a while now I have had this clunking noise when I hit the brakes. No shakes. The pads, rotors, shoes, and drums look good.
The top hats on the struts are solid, nothing loose, rusted, or cracked
Please help. I'll test out whatever I can at this point. Cause the mechanics I've taken it too have no clue.
If there is a thread for this already please let me know!
Thanks in advance people!

You should check your ball joints and also inspect all bushings. Trailing arm bushings might clunk on braking if deteriorated enough I think. Do you have any sway bars? That would be the other area to investigate.
