While swapping my engine, I replaced my clutch slave cylinder. After getting everything back together, I could not get the pedal to come back to life. I tried the two person pedal pumping method for an hour without success. I also tried a hand pump to introduce negative pressure, without success. Lots of bubbles but still no pedal. So finally, I tried positive pressure.
The Power Bleeder doesn't have an attachment small enough for the clutch reservoir. So we used the euro attachment and two people. The euro attachment has a soft underside. So one person applied even pressure to hold it on the reservoir, and the other pumped it to 12 psi and opened the bleeder. Tons of air and fluid later, it was back to life!
Since the forums have lots of frustration with the clutch but few confirmed successes, I thought this might be helpful to contribute.
