Hi, first of all sorry for my bad english. I have a civic 96 and sometimes it will not start because the injectors will not open. I know just a little of electronic, I decided to check the ECU board and there is a burned IC. I am not able to tell what the IC is so I could try replacing it, but on the board it says Q46. I am not able to find the diagram of the ECU to find the right model of the IC to look for it. If someone could share a link for the ECU diagram I will appreciate it. The ECU model is 37820-p2e-a01
I can tell you that is a transistor but that is all I can tell you.
The factory service manual does not break down the ECU into the individual components soldered to the board so without being able to read the numbers on the component, we won't know what transistor Honda used to be able to cross reference to today's components.
There are numbers on that transistor, get out a magnifying glass, get the numbers, order part, and solder it in.
The transistor that is burnt very likely burned the numbers off. Your answer seems to miss the most likely scenario and will very likely prove to be ineffective.
