Default ...Not sure of my 93 Honda Accord...

I've been here a few times before. Kinda still new, only becuz I don't understand how this works really. Sooo...
About 6 years ago my family had just this Honda that seemed to have no end.
My mom, Tina, & her grandson, Robin, came (from McMinnville) & picked us up from the Amtrak Station (in Portland), there was My son, Seth, my daughter, Shirley, & me. Our stuff all fit in the trunk.
Let's say 2 years later we move to Molalla. We must have been there for about a year. Somehow, for some reason the Honda quit working. We didn't know why it quit running, it wouldn't start!
When we had to move, we had no choice but to leave it behind... So there it sat in the visitors parking spot in Molalla, for about a "year".
My sister, Patti, & her BF, Larry, told Mom that they'll get it working again, granted Patti had a lil trouble with a neighbor telling them that we gave him the Honda!
Well as she & Larry got the freak'n thing running (from being dead for nearly a year to running again)!
"Speedy," (we call her) ain't the cutest out there, but by gar she's still alive!
*❓ Question ❓ OK! So, I've taken my car into Car Care Specialist here in LC & told them my brake lights will not work! They said it was a fuse, burnt out. They fixed the problem, so I thought. Um, about a week later, I found the problem was back. I took her in & they told me it was cuz of bad wiring, they put in a switch. They tested the lights to the peddle 30 times! They clarified it was in working order. Damn thing did it again & so here we are in the present time. It's been well over a month & I drive it cautiously becuz of no indication of me braking at stop lights & signs. I calculate the reasonable space between the stop from where to slow down to the stop. So from behind me it just looks like I'm being a freak'n slow *** jerk (maybe). I definitely will not take her back to Car Care Specialist! I was told it might be bad wiring (yeah, they've said that before).
I give up on the damn car! I haven't been stopped becuz of it (yet). Maybe a different mechanic? Or maybe she's just finally done in this lifetime... IDK...
Help ? Idea's ? Anyone ? ❓❓❓
On my daughter's birthday she'll be 18, & grandma want to give her the car, but I should say no becuz I don't feel comfortable with Speedy's issues STILL!!!
