I have an interesting issue with my windshield wipers on Honda Accord 2008 EU variant. The wipers usually work fine, but sometimes in heavy rain they suddenly stop working. You can hear the relay click, but there is no movement from them. After stopping the car and jigling the driver side wiper a bit it works again without issues for some time.

I checked the linkage and it doesn't have any excessive play, fuse/relay works and tested. I'm guessing if the issue was the motor it would not work completely? Looking for some advise what could be the cause of this.

 

Wiper motor,. If you grab them and pull them they move? Same thing happened to my car.
