Default Bent Connecting Rod Bolt??

One of my rod bolts has decided it wouldn't like to cooperate. I don't reckon I'll have any luck getting a replacement at the local hardware store. I really do not like this car enough to justify $60 on ARP connecting rod bolts, +the money to get the rods reshaped.

Is there a normal set of bolts I can buy? A single oem replacement bolt? Can I swing by the dealer and ask them to order me one? What are people doing in lieu of the hefty investment in ARP?

They are $6 on ebay shipped. You will spend that much at a hardware store.

Curious: what ITH happened to the engine that was catastrophic enough to bend a con rod bolt, and yet left the rest of the engine valuable enough to not want to spend 60 bucks on it?

Which engine or what year/model/trim? A single D16Z6 rod bolt is $4.41 from Majestic Honda.

The bearing was a bit iffy, but I don't believe the bolt bent until I was reassembling. It was the second piston I dropped in, went to rotate the crank & **** was froze tight. I'm pretty sure I bent it, in short.

It's a D15B2 that was swapped into a 92 hatch - I don't care for the motor because I have an engine on a shelf I want to be building for it. My plan was to get this train wreck operational & putz around in it while I built my "racecar" motor, but it's turned into a bit of a money pit.
