Hi gurus,

anyone encountered / heard such noise before? Seems like it’s coming from the engine/transmission side. I’m really not sure . When the car first starts up, the sound is there but when I turn it off and start again, the sound goes away. Any idea folks?

engine is b18 head / b20 block. Everything is stock. Just got the car recently so still learning / undoing whatever the precious owner did..

Does it come from the Alternator ?

 

Found the possible cause .. could be distributor. Changing that and then monitor .. fingers crossed 🙏
