My second car I had was a 1999 Honda Civic when I was 18. I stupidly shifted into reverse going 70km/hr on the highway. Killed the tranny.

After a few other cars, there was nothing quite like that 99 civic. Saw one up for grabs the other day, a 2000 civic with 225,000kms for $1700. Met the guy and it seemed like he took great care of the car. Told me that the wheel bearing probably needed to get changed and other than that it was good. Managed to haggle down to $1400.

Overall quite freaking happy with it so far. Aside from breaking some studs when trying to investigate the hub and what not.

Look forward to getting her fixed up and driving again. Beautiful car even after 20+ years.
