2022 Integra
The 2022 Integra is going to be built on the same platform as the next generation Civic already on sale. It will be a two door hatchback with a manual transmission standard. This car is the reasoning behind the current civic coupes discontinuation. Base model with be a sub 200 horsepower, sub $27,000 car using the base model civic engine and transmission. The Type S will share internals with the upcoming Civic SI and retail just over $31,000. As for the Type R, I am excited to announce it will be naturally aspirated. As a result, this will be a extremely limited production vehicle that will be substantially more expensive than either the Base model or Type S developed purely with a focus on driver involvement, enjoyment, and pleasure. The camouflaged model spied is the 2022 Integra test mule. I will return with more information under another username soon.
There will be NO HYBRID or electric power train.

Kind of hard to believe Honda would develop a high output NA engine from scratch for a limited run variant. What's the highest output NA four-banger they have across the Honda/Acura lineup at the moment? Do they even have one?

This thread is giving me feelings I can't put into words.
Y'all know that my ITR was my favorite car ever and that my life has been in a steady downward spiral since it was stolen. And that I got a little piece of it back with my Si, but it just wasn't quite the same. Got a little piece of it back with the Golf R, but wasn't quite the same. Then lost a bit again when my vicious she-wolf insisted I sell the Si to save our marriage (fooled ya!).
I'll never totally get back what's been lost but literally driving a brand-new ITR would do quite a bit for me psychologically. And that was when I thought it would be turbo'd.
Now it's NA? I'm ******* done. Sign me up *************. Phoenix Yellow please. I should not be feeling euphoric over a g'damn car but here I am. No one wants this more than I do.

Imagine seeing an artist's render on what they think a re-launch of the Integra would look like... and thinking its real.
Here's the ONLY content provided by Acura: https://www.instagram.com/p/CSgCT5Mlz1C/
And here's the artist that did that render: https://www.instagram.com/jrubinsteintowler/
I doubt that, IMMENSELY.

I highly, highly doubt the NA part. It worked back in the days when cars were in the ~2500lb range, but not today.
It will be slow compared to just about everything else performance wise available today.

Just toss the Accord 2.0t motor in there and call it a day. Plenty of power, tons of torque, already in mass production and would make a very speedy 3000lb coupe. Let's call that one the GSR plz.
Just a more modern version of this front end. Cali / combat front bumper

52460192[/url]]I heard “280 ps,” so it isn’t necessarily an all new “from scratch” motor.
