Hy everybody out there, I had 2 questions
My cat is not yet installed to my exhaust header (04 civic lx sedan), im wondering if that has anything to do with my p0497 code.
Second question
My leaking waterpump was replaced but not the timing belt as it was also new 3 months prior.
Blasted squaking belt all the time., Im wondering if thats because of the timing belt? But what makes it weirder, (or i dont understand) is that the stupid thing will squake until the battery is at full charge then the stupid noise goes away, but the alternator belt didnt get contaminated with waterfluid, and its not loose or too tight so i cant understand my the squaking goes away when the battery meter reads about 14.1 the noise goes away .im tryn to figure out whats squaking , the timing belt or the altenator belt... When i get some time (dont know when that is) i gota remove the belts and test for sound. But its been going on for months now and im sik of the noise.
Any info would be considered, thank you all!

when it's squeaking you can hit it with belt dressing and if it goes away then it's the alt belt , I turn the tension screw tight as I can by hand and then one time around with plyers or something and that should be good . If something else is leaking , oil/coolant , that can cause belts to squeak .
