Default What are the best brakes?

im looking for a real good brake kit for my CTR
im going to get my engine stuff done in like jan and want to get a new brake system to cope with the extra power

Do you want BEST brakes, or just real good?

Best: Brembo 4 piston setup (over $2000 and will require at least 17" wheels)
Very very good: Wilwood or Fastbrakes kit
Also very very good: Spoon/Nissin 4 piston caliper kit
Good: Mugen active gate brake system

Also, the stock system from the Integra Type R and the Civic Type R is also good.

Admittedly, however, the stock system from Honda is no slouch either.

I would say just convert to 5-lug.

The ITR brakes will be just fine for your purpose.

hello, brembo should be the brakes you want to find. however, it is more expensive than oem brakes. you can go to http://www.dealtrend.com to compare price from many auto company.

I would say just convert to 5-lug.

He has a CTR, he already has the bigger brakes and 5 lug...................
