What wiring can be deleted? (98 EX coupe)
Hey folks.
Relatively new to Hondas. We're building a hobby stock car to run out at the local short track, and in the process of trying to strip the car down.
My question, is what wiring aside from accessory (window motors, lights, radio, a/c) can be deleted? I see the PGM FI wires labeled all over the connector pin-outs in the service manual, but no real clear description of where they go. I know the PGM-FI circuit is for the fuel system, but it seems like there are so many wires labeled PGM-fi that go into the under-dash fuse panel for no real purpose.
Also, for what it's worth, someone kinda hacked up the interior harness, so I am trying to fumble through that mess too.

This^^ find a manual for your specific car and eliminate non essential systems.

You can always hit the easy button and buy a complete chassis and engine harness from companies such as Rywire - obviously, it will cost some money but they're generally plug and play.
