Default Coolant Honda Blue vs Toyota Pink

Not a lot of threads on this. I've always wanted to try the Toyota Pink stuff in my car to see if there's a difference. I know Toyota's Pink stuff is a HOAT coolant, but I don't know if Honda's blue stuff is a HOAT coolant. I've also heard that the Toyota's pink stuff is slightly better than Honda's blue stuff. I know I can run with the pink stuff because Honda told me it's safe. I know the old coolant has to be flushed out but I don't have a hose to do so. I'm going just drain my old stuff and fill it with the pink stuff and drive around for a little while and re-drain it and fill it back up with the pink stuff. I'll do it 3-4 times to make sure I drain all the old stuff out. Has anyone on here ever used Toyota's pink stuff in your Honda's and if so was there any difference.

I believe Honda's coolant is HOAT also.

I do not believe anyone is able to comment on Toyota Pink and it's effectiveness. Looks like it may be up to you to do the testing and reporting.

Define 'better'. What are you trying to achieve? What difference are you expecting to see by using the Toyota coolant?

I've been using Pentofrost SF in my Honda engines for quite a few years. It's the pink spec for most mid-oughts VWs. It's got all the right stuff for water pump lubrication and seal materials, is silicate free per the requirements, and doesn't come in pre mix. I mostly use it because it comes in small bottles and I don't like paying top dollar for distilled water. There's also nothing wrong with Honda coolant. Choose your own adventure
