Default Manual transmission question.

So I bought a 03 civic LX with a MT that had no 5th gear and grinding in other gears. I ended up swapping it out with a MT from a vtec Ex from the same year with a new clutch. Well it's been less then 1000 miles and my clutch started taking a turn for the worst. It all started after going through a carwash so I'm guessing the carwash contaminated the clutch.

But anyway my question is this. Seeing that the transmission from the ex has a different gear ratio it wouldn't require a different type clutch then the one for the LX would it? Also is it normal for civics to cruise around 3200+rpm at 60mph?

This is my first Honda. So I'm new to the feel of driving one. I'm just making sure I'm feeling the right feels 😂
