Steering wheel with airbag (SRS)
Hello all,
i have a EUDM integra type r (Import from Italy), i don't have a lot of space with the current SRS steering wheel (I'm tall and my knee hits the steering wheel when trying to heel/toe).
A lower seat frame is installed and it's still not that good.
Is there a way or a mods to adjust the steering wheel a bit closer to me ?
Or replace the steering wheel with an aftermarket one (With airbag) or replace with a steering wheel from another Honda/Acura models?
I haven't found any aftermarket steering wheel with airbag and until i have a rollcage installed with harness i don't want to remove the airbag since i still daily drive this car quite often.
Thank you for your help,

Thank you for your help,
older hondas have a smaller steering wheel but no air bag. im assuming airbag is required for your local inspection?
only option i can think of is a custom steering column to extend steering towards driver.

Thank you for your response,
Yes airbag is needed where I live (France)
I end up on this site : https://www.spacershop.com/?product=...or-honda-s2000
After talking to them, they said that i can use the spacer for s2000, it should be compatible with the itr dc2 oem steering wheel.
I need to dig a a little to check if the steering column are really the same

Hello,
Yes that's wht i've found, so i guess the spacer won't fit because the holes on the steering column are not the same :/
Unfortunately after looking almost every thread on this, there's no solution except using aftermarket steering wheel or getting a low bucket seat.
I guess I will put an aftermarket steering wheel when i will have the rollcage install.

i just gave you a solution. swap steering column to ek and use s2000 wheel with the spacer.
deff not cheaper than going aftermarket....and as you said, you are restricted due to location.
