I have a jdm spec rhd type r i imported to the states. I just bought coilovers and rear lower control arms. I noticed the oem lower tie bar is not in great shape. Do they make an aftermarket lower tie bar for the integra type r. I keep finding ones for ls gs models. Thank you

 

Comptech use to make one, but super rare to find now and they have been out of business for years. I’m not sure if I’m fully correct, but HeelToe picked up there IP and can reproduce them?

It does not seem to specify for type r. The bracket on each end would not be needed on a type r. However im unsure if the two bolt holes on the bar itself are in the correct locations to match the type r subframe. The geometry does look the same tho.

 

The one you posted bolts to the pivot point of the lca, the type R rear tie bars bolt to the fixed mounting points.

Heeltoe only picked up the the tooling for the Icebox and the associated rights. The rest of the Comptech stuff is still out to lunch somewhere, unfortunately.
