I apologize if this has been answered but most searches returned answers for this are for the 1993 and up models also when searching Google for a replacement fuel tank they are all for 1993 and up. Can I get a replacement fuel tank from the later models or 17500-SR2-A31 this part number.

 

There isn't a 1992 Del Sol. They were released in 1992 for the 1993 model year.

Your fuel tank will be 17500-SR2-A31, which has been discontinued. Aftermarket ones are difficult to find. I would recommend repairing yours instead of replacing it, if that's an option.

 

Either find a non-rusted one from a donor Del Sol or aftermarket (RACE applications)
