Noises After Timing Belt Service / AC Service
I had my 1992 Accord taken in for a Timing Belt Service/Water pump as well as replacing the AC compressor.
Mechanic notes say:
- Replace timing belt, drive belt, water pump, idler bearing, tensioner, tensioner adjuster, refill and bleed cooling system.
- R AND R AC Compressor, Rec Drier, EVAC AC sytstem, recharge and ck for leaks, flush system
There is a new pcv valve that is not noted in the note but noted in the itemized charges.
I got it back and there are obvious light knocking/ticking noises at idle and extremely obvious noisy whines at acceleration.
Neither the noise at idle nor the noise when accelerating occurred before the service.
Here's a video: https://streamable.com/an2126
Additional video (startup and going into higher RPMs): https://streamable.com/1kqlbo
Any thoughts? Is this driveable?
