2001 Honda Civic DX
Please help!! There’s a video attached to this post. Please help us figure out this sound and where and what it is.

 

Makes a clunking noise when accelerating over 45 mph doesn’t do it when you brake or turn it doesn’t get louder or faster. It’s only from the front passenger side. we’ve checked calipers not that, ball joints not that either axels are fine, you can only hear it from inside the car not outside, it just started within the last few days steering wheel doesn’t shake car doesn’t shake can’t feel anything through the pedals.

 

Bad motor or transmission mounts?

 

we just got out of the shop and they said that it was the driver axel.

 

I was going to ask if the car was moving during the recording? if not moving it sounded like a crank bearing or rod knock or exhaust leak.... Glad to see that it is a cv joint
