Has anyone retrofitted AC before?

My UKDM ED2 didn’t come with AC from the factory, and I’d love the challenge of fitting it. I’ve got the AC button (just for looks, imported from the states) and theres a plug behind it which plugs in, so some of the circuitry must be there? Especially as the button lights up when pressed!

I’m no stranger to wiring, having converted my obd0 carby ed2 wiring loom to an obd1 vtec loom to use a P28 ecu and run my d16z6.

The wiring element doesn’t worry me, but with EF parts being so rare in the UK, especially models with AC, would newer Civic parts work?

Any tips or advice would be appreciated!
