Overheated 3.0 V6
I was performing my first timing belt change on my 07 Accord EX J30 coupe. I thought I'd replenished the coolant sufficiently but on test drive, began overheating...smoke everywhere and high pitched squealing and then clattering sound that increased with engine speed. Now I'm 2 weeks from leaving for school and have to find and fix this problem....any advice. I definitely did not fully restore my coolant level and drove about two miles when all hell broke loose. I'm stuck wondering if it was something I missed during the timing belt change or something absolutely related to the lack of coolant and overheating condition. It seemed to initially take a few tries starting it, but ran pretty smoothly until the noises and smoking.
