Help! Where do I go from here? I have two failed inspections due to my O2 sensor not being ready. I can only guess this is due to my Honda sitting idle for weeks at a time sometimes. Immediately after one of these idle periods, my car - which only has some 35,000 miles on it - failed inspections. Inspection station and Honda dealer each have said the only recourse is to drive the car more, But prior to the 2nd inspection I drove the car 2+ hours (140-150 miles) on the road and right into the inspection station. Still failed. Now with 2 strikes, I am out of “try this” ideas.. I do not have a special code reader, nor know how to operate one, nor do I know where the MIL indicator is in the car. What do I need to go to get the 02 sensor / catalytic converter to cycle on? HELP!
