I was reading about the JDM, B16a motor and there are several different variations with
different horsepower ratings. How do i determine which one I have?
That search got me sidetracked on the manual transmission and
I read that some 5sp transmissions are beefier than others. is this true and if so how
do I determine which trans I have?

first look at engine head stamp
where runner 4 the first circled numbers will be 9/ a number
thatll determine yesr jdm b16a
obd0 sir 1 sir 2

transmissions theyre all same if i remember correctly
hydro or cable

but overall all b16 jdm or usdm is pretty much within 5-7 hp of each other nothing to be disappointed if lower one
