As title says. I don't how it took me so long to notice that the brass fitting is gone. Bought it from a junkyard while back for a manual swap and started to compare the auto and manny. All is fine and dandy except for that missing fitting.
Anyway, any ideas on how to install a new fitting on there? Anyone know the size of the fitting by chance?
Yeah i figured that'd be the answer. Not a bad thing though because i had never tapped anything before but gotta do what I gotta do. Atleast i learned a new skill. Thanks though! Not so bad for my first time tapping something!
Also for anyone who happens to have the same problem I had, I used a 1/8 MIP, 5/16 barb fitting. I didn't have to drill a hole at all which was nice as the original hole was the perfect diameter for the tap.
