So, I replaced my rear shocks probably 5 years ago but now (amazingly) they are completely shot. Every time I hit a bump it feels like I hit a pot hole and the back end is getting squirrely, for lack of a better word. It’s almost feeling dangerous while driving on the interstate and I need to replace them again. Can anyone suggest a brand and/or website? My car has around 260k miles and I need good replacements.

 

KYB is a good choice. If you’re replacing the shock and reusing the original springs, it would be wise to replace the strut mount bushings and spring isolators as well. Consider replacing the front ones too since the front end takes more of a beating.
