Hello everyone!

I have a 2019 Honda -HRV I bought a little less than a year ago- it's been running really well until this past weekend. While I was driving from Connecticut to Pennsylvania, the car slowed down on the high way and I wasn't able to accelerate- eventually stalled. I pulled over to the shoulder and turned the vehicle off and then back on, and it started sputtering. I had it towed to a local Honda dealership who ran all diagnostic tests and were unfortunately unable to come up with anything..it's now working just fine without any intervention.

Has anyone else encountered anything like this?

Just an FYI, I did have my fuel-pump replaced after the recall

On the Honda dealer invoice after their diagnostics, did it list any trouble codes they found? If so, post the trouble codes.

 

Nope, no trouble codes- they were stumped

 

i know this is an old post but i had this happen with my 2017 diesel HRV, but it would rest when i turned the car off, then on again.
i took it to the garage and the guy told me to replace my MAF sensor. i did and the problem persisted, i then found out that i had a huge split in my intake pipe, and also had a filthy air filter , replaced both these and the problem disappeared.
