Default RSX swap options

I found a 2002 RSX Type S that I can get for pretty cheap with no motor and trans in it. I plan to get this to use as a dirt track race car, no street driving whatsoever. I tried searching around a bit but couldn't really find the exact answers I was looking for.
I am looking into getting this car, and getting a K series to do an all motor build to put into it.
My question is what motor and/or trans will work, and what has the most power potential for racing? Hmotors has JDM K24A with the TSX 3 lobe, RBB cylinder head, I was thinking of doing that, but wanted to know if there are better options.

Thanks in advance!

The TSX engine is an excellent choice for short track dirt and asphalt racing. USDM or JDM makes little difference... just make sure you get the true dual 3-lobe head. The 2L engines are typically more expensive and make less torque... you know, that stuff you need for post corner apex "track out".

Alright cool. I ended up getting the car tonight, so now I get to start official planning. To put the K24 in, do you just use the regular RSX motor mounts and whatnot or does it require any mods? Also do you need the wiring harness from the K24 or do you use the harness that's already with the car?
