93 accord oil in spark plug #2 should I just get a set of non-foulers?
So I have been having a problem with oil consumption in my 93 accord 4 door it only has 159k miles and I am the third owner of it I pulled the second spark plug wire and there was so much oil in I'm surprised it starts tbh I did my upper seals when I replaced the valve cover gasket I cleaned the boot and replaced the plug and a week later checked it and it almost looks worse than before I did the work also I am burning through 3 quarts of oil about every 250-300 miles the engine is pretty clean upon first look you can see some really old build up on top of the starter whish is passenger side of the engine but nothing new or wet like you would see on fresh leaks any suggestions on how I can fix either issue?
If you replaced the upper spark plug tube seals and it is still leaking into the spark plug tube, check to make sure you didn't mistakenly tear it during VC installation. I have seen them tear if they are dry or the valve cover is installed at an aggressive angle. If the upper seal is in good shape you will probably need to replace the lower 0-rings, between the rocker assembly and the cylinder head.
Aside from the oil on the outside of the spark plugs, how does the business end of the spark plugs look? Are they fouled with oil, quarts of oil in 300miles is a lot. There should be a noticeable puddle or blue smoke out of the tail pipe.
Have you replaced/cleaned out the PCV system?
Could try a compression test on all the cylinders to see if you may have worn piston rings.
