holy bleep this car is bucking like a mother bleeper
Please help, its been going on for a few weeks now every time I drive my car hesitates and bucks like carzy! I can't figure out what the problem is I checked my spark plug gap, did a compression ckeck, and made sure my plugs were getting spark with a timing light. What the hell is wrong, Is it timing? It might be but I've hade my Cam GEars for a long time now. Please help. I just changed mt fuel filter because I thought it might be that. Thanks
I checked my ignition and every thing seems ok to me maybe I'm wrong. Do you know what the firing range is supposed to be. Please excuse me if I seem stupid but I'm DRUNK!!
so before you changed your fuel filter... it ran fine? then after it started ******* up? If so, you found your problem.
no I thought the problem might be the fuel filter , but I was totaly wrong. It still does the same thing that it di before I changed tthe fuel filter. Thanx

It is a fuel problem for sure. The car will not buck and hesitate with an electrical problem. Check the fuel pressure and all of the fuel injector clips.
Do you happen to have a vtec controller? If you do, the problem maybe that the controller is not working properly with your Map senesor and is not reading the fuel properly. I had the same problem with my VAFC. Try disconecting the map sensor wire and put the stock connectin back in. If you don't have a vtec controller...may be your fuel pump. Check your fuel presure. Good luck

check your coil, it has done this to me twice, first time it was a bad coil, second time the wire wasn't insulated good enough and it was arching over to the frame...is it worse at low rpms? have you changed you wires/dist cap &roter lately?

this may sound really stupid, but my manager changed the fuel filter in his 2000 civic so he could start spraying again, and after he did his car acted like yours sounds like it is. The problem ended up being he knocked the map sensor loose somehow, and after fixing it, it worked fine.

yea, my car does this, cant figure out why, I replaced the cap/rotor/plug wires/plugs/fuel filter/changed the ignition coil/put in dsm injector to see if it was my stock injectors/check fuel pump pressure(it maintained pressure throughout the misfiring) today, Im off to check the o2 sensor and see if the map sensor is alright, if anyone can help me with this, I would greatly appreciate it
my buddy had the same problem with his crx and he replace the whole distributor and even the ignition coil...but it didnt make a difference....and come to find out was a loose ground wire....and it stopped doing that after he tighten the ground wire...that maybe another thing for you to check as well....and that also happened to my sister's maxima and turned out to be individual coils.......so check those two...

try gassing the car more while it bucks and you should get a cel code.
My car was bucking like yours and i got pissed and gassed it harder when it started to buck and the cel popped up as 12 (egr)
then my next step was to remove the egr and clean it with engine degreaser and try to get all the carbon deposits out.
let me know if that works.
